Embark on a flavorful journey with us that traces back to 1975, when our humble beginnings involved delivering live chickens to local shops with their own slaughter rooms. But as laws evolved, so did we! By 1988, we ushered in a new era of convenience with oven-ready chickens, setting the stage for a delicious revolution.

Overview

Our journey started back in 1975 when we started delivering live chickens to shops who had a slaughter room at the back of their shops. In 1988 the law was changed that chickens could only be slaughtered in certified slaughterhouses. The start of a new era when oven ready chickens wore introduced to the public. In 2002 we opened a slaughterhouse in Cannock where we were the first company to join Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) we have been their members ever since.
In 2012 we opened HMS to diversify away from the whole bird market and started to further process the chickens into smaller cuts (Breast Fillet, Legs, drumsticks etc) we then saw that there was a market for marinated products. We started to supply Dixy Chicken and Pepe’s where we marinated their chicken with the marinade they supplied.
